This is a money-making method that can easily make you a part-time and even full-time income online promoting Clickbank products.
Choose a Clickbank product
The first step is to find a Clickbank product you like to promote. I recommend choosing a niche you have knowledge of, i.e., something related to your hobbies or your job. Think about how you can describe this niche with a keyword.
This method will work with any niche as long as there is a Clickbank product that you can promote. There are two important values you’ll want to consider when picking a product.
- Gravity – This number represents a unique calculation by Clickbank that takes into account the number of different affiliates who earned a commission by promoting a particular product over a 12 week period. You want to find products that have a gravity of at least 14.
- Avg $/sale – This indicates the average commission you’ll get for referring a customer who buys the product. Check for products that pay at least $100. The more the better, but keep in mind, higher priced products have a lower conversion rate.
Tip: Sometimes searching for products using Clickbank’s marketplace search function does not bring back accurate results.
I like to use a third-party tool called CBengine.com, which does a pretty amazing job filtering down products based on a number of filters.

Define the Target Audience
After you have found a good performing product, it’s time to define your target audience. This important because it will help tailor a testimonial to this audience and find the perfect presenter to pitch the testimonial.
If you have a Facebook business account, you can research you audience by checking out the audience insights section to learn more about the demographics.
If you don’t have a business account with Facebook, you can check if the product vendor did the research already and placed demographic information in the affiliate’s area. Or you can do a quick search on Google to find information about a particular audience.
When you are defining a target audience it is one of the few times when you need to put people into categories.
You are going to be targeting the majority of the market. So, for instance, a weight loss product may have 70% of the market that are 35 – 64 year old women. So naturally you’ll want to spend your time and resources marketing to that group.
After you have found success with your initial target group, there might be the chance to target other demographics within the niche.
Hire a Presenter on Fiverr
Search Fiverr for an actor that’s would be a part of the target audience. For example, choosing a sweet 65 year old grandma for a video game testing product would be funny, but she would surely not be someone the target audience of young males could identify with.
The more similar the actor is to the person watching the testimonial, the more powerful the psychological effect will be.
Most sellers will have examples of their work. You should watch their sample videos to see if the person appears natural, or if it is more like a random person reading a script word for word.
Writing a Testimonial
Now you need to write a review or testimonial of the product. Typically the actor will not write the testimonial for you.
There are other services on Fiverr that offer video script writing, that you can buy for a fairly decent price and then give that to the actor to use in the review video.
You could also search Google for the product name + Clickbank review to find reviews that real people have written.
You could simply copy those reviews and use as template for writing your own review or testimonial to provide your presenter.
The testimonial doesn’t always need to appear as such for a Clickbank product. You could explain how you were able to solve a specific problem mentioning how the Clickbank product helped with the solution.
Create a Landing or Squeeze Page
The page should be simple and clean. Not much text, no navigation and free from other distracting stuff.
You are going to need a domain and hosting to host your page. If you are tight for money, some good free options are:
WordPress.org
Medium.com
Wix.com
Etc…
The main purpose of landing and squeeze pages is so that you are not linking directly from social media sites that could potentially ban your account for promoting and linking to an affiliate offer.
Also, using a squeeze page to collect email addresses is a good thing to monetize visitors over and over again through email marketing. You could also offer an incentive to sign up, like an Ebook or PLR product.
After they have entered their email address, they will be redirected to the product’s offer page. A good trick to use, is to create the landing or squeeze page to look very similar to the actual product’s sales page.
The continuity between you landing page and the vendor’s page should be as smooth of a transition as possible for the visitors. Replicate the colors, fonts, and layout of the sales page as much as possible.
Upload Your Video
Create a new YouTube channel or use an existing one if it somehow fits to the channel name and topic.
Upload your video to YouTube or other popular video sites. YouTube is by far the biggest and the one you should focus most of your time on first.
After uploading your video, write a descriptive keyword rich title that catchy and will get people to want to click on your video.
You will also want to write a good keyword rich description of a few hundred words.
Make sure you add your affiliate link as close to beginning of the description as possible so it can be visible without having to click the “More” link.
Keep in mind that you never want to allow comments to be auto approved. Competitors and other regular viewers will leave their dumb comments and spam their own affiliate links on your video.
You want to filter those out and only leave positive, neutral or constructive feedback.
That’s pretty much it. To scale this method to $1,000’s per month, just rinse and repeat using different products and review/testimonial video.
